Daughter of a Psychopath is a true story about growing up under the control of a father whose words, behavior, and actions caused lasting harm. This memoir does not seek to shock or sensationalize. It seeks to tell the truth - carefully, honestly, and without exaggeration.

This is a story about silence, fear, confusion, and survival. It is also a story about memory, endurance, and the long process of naming what was never allowed to be spoken.

I am free. The chains of secrecy has been broken.

My Story

My story is not a story of perfect healing or tidy endings.

I have carried anger, hate, and murderous thoughts within me for many years. It is only by the grace of God, that I survived the demon who held me chained.

I've explored and discovered the effects of child abuse and neglect, and I kept a diary where I held my deepest secrets.

After I saw a photo that triggered me, I decided to share my story with others.

This book is not a guide to healing; written for entertainment or suitable for all readers.
